Welcome to my personal web site. My name Davis Wilkinson and I am currently a senior studying computer science and international relations at Case Western Reserve University. I hold an interest in how technology has influenced and continues to drive change in the modern world. My academic journey has given me the opportunity to learn about the qualitative aspects within the international arena and the quantitative complexities of networked computer systems. I intend to pursue a career path that allows me utilize both these skill sets. My concentrations of study include modern middle Eastern politics and changes in the region’s political, social and economic landscapes due to the recent revolts and protests of the Arab Spring. I also have worked extensively with database management systems in conjunction with web-based application development.
Born in California, but raised in Mexico and Texas, I have had blessed ability to travel throughout the county and the world. I love immersing myself in other cultures and in new experiences. I am an active member and have held leadership positions in the national Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. My hobbies include reading, film study, exercising and participating in competitive athletics. I also play the double bass and bass guitar and participate in my university’s chamber orchestra.
